"Alright everybody I'm going to show you a couple of tips real quick on how to build up your speed using the flash technique, and this will help you with your four ball, and eventually your five, six, seven, however many balls you want to juggle, although I believe the world record is an eleven ball flash. If you can beat that, good for you! Now we're going to do something quick with three balls. This is an exercise, you can even do it as a trick if you want, but what you want to do is throw all three balls up in the air, clap your hands once, and catch them all again. It looks kind of like this. Now, this is a really good exercise to build up your speed because it means that there's a point when you don't have a ball in either hand, and it helps you learn to move your hands quickly. Now you can do flashes with four balls in both patterns, you can even, if you want I'll show you this quick, get a fifth ball and do a five ball flash. Now flashing is the kind of thing that you do and you don't continuously juggle, you just throw all the balls and you catch all the balls, and the idea of the clap is that you throw them all, clap, and then catch them all. So if you can do a four ball flash and then clap, you should have enough speed built up to do five balls. But let me show you that three ball flash technique one more time, one, two, three, clap, just like that, one, two, three, just like that. And if you can clap twice, that will mean you're building up enough speed to safely do four balls. So that's how you use a flash to build up your speed as a training exercise."
