" Hi everybody! Malik, the magic guy with expertvillage.com, now we are going to make the first animal, a basic dog. When I did loop twist, we talked about making a dog out of loop twist. This looks okay and then we talked about the lock twist and we made a dog like this. This is the basic dog. I am going to take you through how to make this again. The difference is that you actually got two bubbles here separated for the ears and for the two sets of legs, so I am going to show you right now step by step how to do this. First you are going to take your balloon; you want to have about this much air at the end. That is about 3 or 4 inches. You can actually use your hand to measure this. Like this is about one 1 hand width for me. You can use fingers if you want but this is about 1 hand width for me. You are going to make about a 2 or 2 ½ inch bubble like that or for me that would be a 3 finger bubble, then another one, you fold down just like we did in a lock twist, just like this, make a bubble here and you twist those together like that. That is going to make your head and your ears for your dog. You are going to make about the same for the neck. Nice thing about this all the bubbles are pretty much the same size, just like that. That’s where we are so far and one more bubble here, one more bubble, we fold that down, we measure here and we twist there, shape that up and that is going to make our basic dog. You can make these bubbles different lengths, you can adjust them. Later on we are going to make different animals just by changing the sizes of the bubbles but that is the basic dog. You can put a little face on it with a magic marker and give it to a kid and he will be really happy."
