" Hi everybody! This is Malik, the magic guy with expertvillage.com. We are doing balloon twisting and now for the fun part, the basic twisting. So here is what you want to do, you are going to take your balloon and if you’re right handed, you are going to hold the balloon in your right hand and if you are left handed you are going to hold the balloon in your left hand. I’m right handed so I’m going to hold in my right hand. It is all about making a bubble. Now the best way is you are going to take the balloon, kind of squeeze it and twist it at the same time and you make this, looks like a little sausage link. Right now this is not going to stay. We are going to talk about that a little later but you just want to kind of squeeze and twist at the same time. This is really a question of just overcoming fear. It is going to pop every once in a while; that’s okay. Just start again. So you just want to squeeze, twist like this, the air is going to go into the uninflated end, that is why you left it there and that’s it. So we will talk more about how to hold that together a little later. Practice this for a few minutes, just practicing that. If you keep doing it over and over in the same spot, you are going to wear a spot on the balloon and it will break. So you can move along and do it in different spots on the balloon just to get use to twisting. "
