" Hi everybody! This is Malik, the magic guy with expertvillage.com. Now we are going to talk about inflating the balloons and tying them. When you are inflating the balloon, you are going to leave some room at the end based on what you are going to make. We will talk more about that a little later on but basically you are going to inflate your balloon with the pump like this, pinch it off so the air doesn’t come flying out and then to tie it, this is how I do it, is you are going to wrap it, stretch it, wrap it around your 2 fingers like this and you are going to take this little piece and tuck it through here and pull your knot like that. That is going to give you an inflated balloon that you can work with. Now I am going to run through that for you one more time so that we can see the exact process because the tying is the most important thing. Without the tying, you’ve got flat balloons and you can’t make anything. So we are going to blow up our balloon, we are going to leave how ever much we need at the end, wrap this around like this, tuck this through like this and then pull your fingers out just like that. So that is going to require a little practice. You probably want to blow up a few balloons, practice that for a few minutes before you go on to the next part because that really is the part that most people have the most trouble with. "
