"Hey guys, we are here today to learning how to play some fun, new improv warm ups for your impro team. And the next warm up that Dan B and I are going to show you how to play is a warm up called "barnyard". Now to play barnyard you are going to want to make sure that your team has plenty of open play space because you are going to be wondering around and most of your players are not going to be able to see where they are going. So if you guys have tables or chairs or any gigantic blades laying around pick them up. Next you are going to designate someone to be the host, the MC or the leader of this game. And that person is going to go around and give each player and animal that would be found in a barnyard. Now it's good to have three or four players be a specific animal, so if you have a small group of players, maybe just pick two or three different animals, if you have a large group of players you can have as many animals as you want. But, make sure that you have three to five people being each specific animal. Once you have been given the name of the animal all of your actors have to scatter across the room and just kind of mix around. And then you are going to have everyone close their eyes or close their eyes or bring a blind fold, or promise they won't look. And then they are going to have to make the noise of their animal and everyone is going to have to get back together in a group, based upon what their animal is. Now when you do this everyone is going to be making noise at the same time and it is going to sound like a giant barnyard. Since there is only two of us demonstrating this game I'm going to assume that Dan has been told that he is a cow and I have been told that I am a pig. And Dan is going to hear the noise of cows mooing over there and I'm going to hear the noise of pigs oinking over there and we're both going to make our own noises and try to wonder towards our groups with our eyes closed and you guys will see the craziness in the situation. Alright, ready Dan? Uh huh. I'm going to spin around. Ok, ready and go. Moo, oink, oink, moo, oink, oink, moo, moo, oink, oink, baa, moo, oink, oink, moo, moo, oink, oink. And that's how you play barnyard."
