"Hi, I?m Melina Piroso and welcome to Expert Village. Today I?m going to show you how to make a cute little bag out of regular everyday fabrics. For this next step, we're going to test to make sure that our lining fits into our bag, our outer bag. So unlike the outer bag, we're not going to flip our lining inside out because our lining is going to go right inside of our bag and we want the pretty outer edge of the seam to show on the inside of our bag. So we're going to take our lining and we're going to go inside of the bag. And you want to be snug but you don't want to have it too baggy inside because then you're just going to take up room, extra room. And you don't really always necessarily need a lining. You can make a bag without a lining, but again it's not going to be as sturdy and it just has a really pretty finished look when you have a lining in a bag. Even a simple bag like this. To open it up and see a different color, it's just a really pretty effect. So we can see that our lining fits perfectly. It's not too baggy, it's not too tight. It's perfect."
