"Hi, I?m Melina Piroso and welcome to Expert Village. Today I?m going to show you how to make a cute little bag out of regular everyday fabrics. The next step that we're going to do is we're going to sew the lining of our bag. Again, like I said, you don't really have to change the thread color. You could if you really want to go all the way but since it's going to be the lining of your bag and it's going on the inside of the bag, you don't really have to. I don't recommend it, especially it's not going to be a big bother for you because it's going to be on the inside of the bag. Ok. These bags are great because they're simple. There's nothing easier than sewing a square. Probably the easiest thing you'll ever sew. For this next step, we're going to remove all the excess threads from our lining and we're going to cut the excess seam allowance of our lining. And since the lining is going inside of the bag and you want it to be snug, you're going to try to cut it as close to the seam as possible. If it's too big, we can always come back and make the lining a little bit smaller."
