"Hi! I'm Melina Piroso and welcome to Expert Village. Today, I'm going to show you how to make a cute a little bag out of regular everyday fabrics. In this step, we're going to go ahead and prepare our fabrics for making the bag. What we're going to do is we're going to iron our fabrics. You're going to get out all the wrinkles. This is like a cardinal rule of sewing. You can't sew anything until you iron flat and get out all the wrinkles. Again, you can see this pillowcase is quite unsightly, but you never want to throw anything away because you can always use it for something. As a bag lining, it'll actually be really pretty. It has a nice color. You won't be able to see the blotchy dye job."
