How to Play Boggle & What Words you Can Use in Boggle

"Hello my name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village today we are learning how to play the game Boggle. So in this clip let's go over some of the types of words that are allowed and also how to play the game. Now we have turned over our timer, so what we need to do is sort the assortment of the letters of 3 or more letters. Now words are form from letters that are joined either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to the left, right or up or down. So this is kind of tricky cause these letters actually have to touch they can't just be random. For instance we have the word hat as you could see they touch. They go down and diagonally. We also have the word hoot. But a word that would not work for instance would be big you could see b-i-g but the do not touch. So that is not a good example. Some different type of words that are not allow of course any word that is not common or found is standard English dictionary. So we are talking about nouns, verbs, adjectives or adverbs. Words that are not allowed are proper nouns things like Smith, Ohio, or France. Now that you know how to play the game so of the words that are allowed, in our next clip coming up let's talk about scoring and how to win the game. "
