Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Joseph Hickerson, pit manager at a local casino and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to give the introduction on how to play casino style craps. In this clip, we're going to discuss field bets. This block is the field. The field is represented by a series of numbers, two, three, four, nine, ten, eleven and twelve. Now a field bet is a self service area but you don't have to put your money on a particular number. Those numbers are throughout the entire field. You're at the far end of the table, a bet right here would still be a field bet. The field bet is a one roll bet, it pays even money if any of these numbers roll except for the two and the twelve. On this layout, they pay double. Some casinos even pay triple in the field. Now once again, the field bet is a one roll, self service bet. If any of these specific numbers roll, you'll get paid, but it's your responsibility to place the bet or to retrieve the winnings."
