Homing Pigeon Racing Formalities

"My name is Joseph Lee and the race of course there will be a form where the ring number is written over there. The color of the bird is written there and of course your name will be; the fancier name will be there So all the pigeons will be taken into the club. We will be checked by officers and they will sign it on a form that all the pigeons are entered in the race. Then these birds will be taken in panion and the club panion. They will be taken by the train to the race point. Then there will be an official letter from the club that is typed out requesting the station master of the race point. Like if the race is on Astinsol race, then the station master of the Astinsol are requested to release the pigeon and then write the time of the released and then sign and stamp. So this is approved that the pigeon had been released from Astinsol and then after that, then the pigeon will be flying from home. Then on the terrace of all the fanciers, a judge will be appointed. The just will be sitting on the terrace with digital watch with all the seconds up to the second had been synchronized. So as the birds come and land on the terrace, the bird will have to enter the loft and then their timing will be taken. As the bird enters the loft, they will see the time and they will note it down. After that the pigeon will be taken out, they will verify the ring number and they will check whether that ring number is in the racing form or not and the time will be put in that column over there; where that ting number is. In the night all the fanciers will collect in the club. They will open the seal of all racing form and then they will become better timing. Whoever has the fastest time is the winner and second fastest is runner-up and after the results have been declared, then these results are giving to the papers to be accomplished and the next day in the newspaper. This is how we raise our pigeon. "
