We'll start by cutting some triangles to put under the window of our theater. This will, has a classic look of flags. I'm going to use lots of different colors here. And I'll start by cutting a two inch strip, that's going to be the length of the flag, is two inches. So I'm going to cut a two inch strip. Now you can cut with a scissor. Or you can use a paper cutter. Paper cutters make things very easy. Now to do the triangles, I'm going to mark, I'm going to mark the sides. I'm going to first mark every one and a half inch all the way down the edge of the card here. And then on the bottom I'm going to start at 3/4 inches which is half of the one and a half inch. And then I'll continue on down the bottom with the one and a half measurement. And what that will give us is a nice triangle. A very even triangle. Now on the paper cutter or with your scissors, you are going to cut a line from the corner to the dot right there. To that, that mid section cut. And then you'll cut from this dot to the other dot on the top. And get rid of these scrap pieces. And continue on until you have as many triangles as you want. And that gives you some nice even triangles. Now I'm going to cut a lot of small squares to make a colorful border around the whole theater. I'm going to, start with a one inch strip. I'm cutting all my colors at once. A one half inch strip. And then I'm just going to cut across that strip to make many little one half inch squares. And we'll place those squares on our, along the edge like little diamonds. Diamonds are also a classical theater decorative, decorating shape.
