"Hi, I'm going to talk to you today about how to pack for cold weather. If it's cold outside, first of all, you need to check the weather because if you're going outside or up on top of a mountain that's above tree line, or even not above tree line, it can be really dangerous if the weather is cold outside. People have died of exposure, even in the middle of summer, even when it's eighty degrees at the bottom, it could be minus thirty at the top or some horrific temperature. People have died all times of the year, even in the winter, even in the summer, so make sure you know the weather is going to be Okay. But, in either case, you're going to need to bring the right stuff. So, here's what we've got. You're going to want a good hat. This hat is lightweight, but it's always been warm enough so this is the one I like to bring. I keep it on the outside because sometimes I wear it even if it's warm. You're gonna still want a good base layer to keep sweat off of you so you won't get chilled. But, if it's just an extra you can have it in the bottom just for later. Your definitely gonna want a second long sleeved shirt to go over that t-shirt, something like this that wicks is a really good idea. I'll put that in as well."
