"Hi, today I'm going to talk to you about protection the trails. One way you can protect the trails is staying off eroded parts and staying on the trail. If you go off trail you could injure valuable wildlife. Take this route over here for example, this tree is growing in here and you can see that the way is starting to erode even through all these roots and moss. If you were to go off trail to circumnavigate a boulder or something and you stepped on this you would start tearing it to pieces. If everyone keep going on that and tearing it to pieces it's going to ruin the trail for everyone else. So, make sure you stay on the trail. Another thing that's really important about staying on trail is, you gotta protect vegetation. Don't walk by and pull off a leaf on the tree because if everybody walks by and pulls a leaf off the tree, the tree's gonna have no leaves on it. And, what if the whole forest gets taken down, then it's no good, so what we need to do is stay on the trail, don't tread on valuable vegetation, and try not to step on any plants that may look like beautiful or possibly endangered because you need to save it for the next people that come through. It's a really important part and you need to save the beauty for everyone else that comes through the woods as well."
