"Hi! I'm going to talk to you about finding the right materials for your fire. So you want to have a fire, you are going to need the right stuff first. The first thing you are going to need is a fire starter. Hopefully if you've got your survival kit all together, you are going to have some of this smaller stuff. You need a bit more than what I've got here but get small twigs like this together if you can and keep them in your kit. If not, try to find some. Make sure they are dry and not wet. Then you are going to need fire starter. This is just your tender. Birch bark works the best because even in the rain or when it is wet, it will always light as long as you get it to light. If it is raining, you can kind of shield the fire with your body or you are starting to light it you can put the stuff in here and kind of light it to get it started. But birch bark is your friend when you are starting a fire. It works really good. It is like gasoline for your fire. Then you are going to need some medium sized stuff. Stuff like this and a little bit larger is good. Get a whole bunch of it so that way when you start getting this going a little bit, start putting this on and it will start going up real fast. And you are going to need some larger stuff. Once it is hot enough, it will start burning these. Make sure they are real dry. You don't want them to be wet other wise your fire is just going to sputter out especially if it is raining. Get all this together right before you start. You can find these, you can get them on the ground but just make sure they are dry. Try not to take too much off the trees. If you are taking birch bark, don't take a whole lot off. If you only need one or two pieces, that's enough to get your fire started because if everybody comes through and starts taking birch bark off, it is going to affect the tree in a bad way. So make sure you are taking stuff from the ground, not too much from trees and make sure you get the fire started and your fire is going to be real nice. "
