"KAYLA BUCCOLA: Hi. My name is Kayla, and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to hula hoop. Okay. Now that I've taught you about the history, let's start hula hooping. The first thing you're going to want to do is get a nice sized hula hoop. They can be a little bit bigger but usually, you don't want it smaller 'cause they'll fall. Slowly, you're just going to rock it back and forth until you think you can let go. I usually only have to do it once. And then as you see, all I'm doing is moving my hips back and forth. You just try to find a rhythm because if you go, "Oh, my gosh. Woo, woo," it's just going to fall. It's not going to work. I know a lot people who tried it and I tried to tell them, "Just keep a rhythm," and then, they're hula hooping great. Usually, when you're first starting, you might want to try with music, a nice modern beat. I usually recommend like things that are like popish, you know, something with a great beat. And then, it will help you move your hip, and soon, you won't even need the music. So, all you have to do is move like this."
