"In this clip, we're going to talk about riding backwards. By this time, you've gotten really comfortable idling, riding forward, it's getting boring, you're ready for the next thing. So, I'd suggest starting out near something that you want to hold on to. I'm just going to rock up onto my unicycle, holding onto this pole. And this just feels, this just feels so weird when you start out, it's just, it's crazy. You want to lean, everybody starts out like this, they want to lean forward like this so they don't fall back and crack their head open. But, it's just like riding forward. You think you're going to fall flat on your face, but really, if you get tripped up, you're just going to step off your unicycle, try to grab the seat so it doesn't get scratched up but, you know, ninety nine percent of the time people land on their feet, so don't be too scared. So, I just like to start out idling, I'm getting comfortable and the foot that you put the weight on is where you're going to, is where you're going to want to start off. I put my weight on my left foot so I'm going to start with the pedal in this position right here and I'm going to push backwards like this. And really the, there's no secret to it. The same principles that apply to going forward, apply to going backward. You might want to look behind you just to make sure you're not going to hit anything. And you?re just going to go for it. So, you just push off and just ride backward."
