"This is called the match drop trick. In this next trick all we're going to have to do is grab a matchbook. And a match. This is such a simple trick that people will be trying to guess forever if you let them. What you are going to say is that, I bet you that you can't drop the match and have it land on its side like that. Because normally it?s going to land flat. But I am telling them that I can get the match to land on its side, which sounds completely impossible. So you can watch people try and try and try to drop to no avail. And I'll drop it again just to show you its still flat. So my little trick to get the match to land on its side is very very simple. And people will be laughing at themselves once the figure this out. Simply bend the match in half to make an L shape. And now drop the match and see what happens. There it is, now that seems like a fluke. Now let me show you again that I can drop it, and it will still land on its side every time. So, this is a way to outsmart your friends. A silly little simple trick, maybe you can bet a couple bucks on this."
