"Hi! My name is Leslie Moselle and I'm from Tampa, Florida. On behalf of Expert Village, this is the essentials of scrapbooking. At your local art store or drugstore that are fine tipped. Whether it be the Sharpie brand, which are permanent, or your art markers that have the thick side and the fine point at the other end. I like to use these markers for captioning your scrapbook. A lot of the time pens they don't come in the nice colors like these markers do. These are so much easier to use. For this page, this a birthday page. It's very nice to go ahead and remind yourself where you were, what you were doing, the date, and just give yourself an idea of what the occasion was. For this one, I'll just take my blue marker and underneath just write 8-15-07, which was the date, and where we were. As you can see, there's so much control in these fine tipped markers. There's not a lot of bleeding, there's no smearing involved, which is really great because sometimes when you use pens it tends to rub off. With these fine tipped markers it just gives you so much more versatility with writing and decorating your scrapbooking page. These markers are probably best used by an older crowd. You don't really want to give these to your kids because they are very delicate and you don't want to press down too firmly with these pens. They're great for captioning and great for scrapbooking."
