"Hi! My name is Leslie Moselle and I'm from Tampa, Florida. On behalf of Expert Village, this is the essentials of scrapbooking. Glue guns are not necessary for paper or pictures, but they are great for gluing on materials like ribbons and fabric. One thing to remember is that the glue dries very quickly and gets very hot and is permanent. It can also be a little messy, so it might be the best to use the glue away from the page so you do not get it on other items. A great example for using your glue gun is to glue the bow on your page. This is great for ribbons and great for fabrics."
