"Hi! My name is Leslie Moselle and I'm from Tampa, Florida. On behalf of Expert Village, this is the essentials of scrapbooking. Chapter five: fabrics and ribbons. Fabrics and ribbons are a fun and creative way to decorate a page in your memory book. The best part about using fabrics and ribbons is it only has to be a small piece, and it's usually something that you have laying around the house. Try to stick with lightweight fabrics that will not be difficult to glue or to tape down. Remember, the size and shape is up to you. For the page I've started here, I’m going to use ribbon. Ribbon can be used in its traditional form as tied in a bow or it can be used to border a page. You can use a small swatch of fabric to create anything that you'd like. A frame for your photo or just a background. That is the use of fabric and ribbon in a scrapbook."
