"I'm Joey Gunz, Glamor Photographer. Check me out on line at www.joeygunz.com. I'm here on Expert Village today to talk to you about part 9 in our series of getting started in photography. Let's say you've gone out and you've acquired a camera and you got a quality bag to keep it in and you are ready to shoot on a moments notice and you've decided on whether or not you are going to shoot film, going to shoot digital and you said okay I've tried to point and shoot but I think I want to upgrade and get me a little something better and you've got your vision and all that together. Well its time to take artistic control and I don't mean artistic control like some crazy photographer running around on the set. No I said pink pink ping pong balls darn it. I mean artistic control in terms of using your camera. There are a few things you can do. Well you can learn about your aperture which is inside your camera which opens up and closes down and it control the light that hits your subject or you can learn about your shutter which will control the amount of light that may hit your back drop. You may leave your shutter open a little bit longer, you may close it to kind of freeze action. These are elements of actually learning your camera, learning your camera as a tool which will allow you to depth of field. It's all about artistic control so life is a journey. We travel through time on this rock on this planet and what happens, take control of it when you can. Control your light, learn your camera , learn your tool, learn your craft and take artistic control. I'm Joey Gunz. Check me out on line at www.joeygunz.com. For Expert Village, we'll see you next time. "
