"Greetings! I'm Joey Gunz. You can check me out on line at www.joeygunz.com. Now I am here on Expert Village to talk to you about part 7 in our 16 part series in getting started in photography. The number one thing that you have to know, well maybe not number 1 or maybe 2 or even 7, but the very important aspect in getting started in photography is to know your subject. When we say know your subject, it's not like knowing a neighbor. Hey Fred, how you doing over there. Nice to see you. Grass is looking green. No you really do want to have an intimate knowledge of your subject, whether you are shooting two lips or if you are shooting babies. You want to know what kind of characteristics those subjects have. Do they move? Are they still? Do you need a macro lens or do you need a wide angle lens. Do you want to shoot it with a telephone lens so you can capture the essence of personality of the subject that you are shooting. Now the majority of work that I do, I do one set on location with glamor models. These are very beautiful women who come in and do their thing and I really love my job. If you want to see some of my work, check me out on line at www.joeygunz.com. "
