Well as a Glamor Photographer, I am here at Expert Village today to talk to you a little bit about party 11 in our 16 part series which is the wildest transmitter. So you made that expenditure into your mono lights and you've got your nice digital SLR camera and you are in the studio and you are tired of tripping over all the cords. It's a way of life. When you go in a studio, you are going to have to deal with cords. So what do you do? Well one of the things you can do is invest in what's called a pocket wizard wireless transmitter. Now this neat little system will send any electronic radio signal to a receiver that looks just like this but the receiver is mounted and connected with the cable into an eighth inch jack on the back of our mono light. What this does is when you fire the trigger on your shutter instead of your speed light which is normally attached on this housing, instead of your speed light firing, a wireless radio signal is sent to the receiver and it signals for the photo strobe to fire. Now wrap your mind around this concept because it is a little complicated but not really. Wireless signal to the wireless receiver on the photo strobe, bam! Your photo strobe fires. Now I set this thing up and if it works properly when I hit this test button, you will see that large soft box over my shoulder fire. So let's give it a show and see if it will go. You got that.
