"JOHN SEXTON: Halo 3 is a registered trademark of Bungie Software, I company which I have no affiliation. Not much you can do against the drop ships, so it's just best to just hide and wait. They can blow out the windows. We've got a brute up here who has got a brute shot. So, this is sort of a survival part of the mission where we're getting attacked from all sides in which we just kind of hang in there until reinforcements can arrive. Again, the grunts not too much of a challenge, but when they're in large numbers or if they're with a brute they're significantly more dangerous because you have to divide your attention to clean them. So, we'll follow the Arbiter. He's kind of our buddy throughout most of this game. He fights by Master Chief's side a lot in this story. Part of the story revolves around the tension between the two and whether or not they can really trust each other and whether or not the Arbiter's intentions are good. After all, Master Chief has spent the first two games fighting against the Covenant and killing hundreds and thousands of Elites, who in turn have killed hundreds and thousands of humans, so he has understandably skeptical of the Arbiter, but that's part of Halo 3's story. So, we press the right bumper to hop into the Pelican. And that's the end of mission one of Halo 3. So we just enjoy the cut scene and get set up for mission two."
