Orange Box's Portal Walkthrough for Test Chamber 8-3

"Hi, I'm John Sexton on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to be learning how to play Portal, a game by Valve Software. A company with which I have no affiliation. So now we see that there is an elevator moving here and that's going to take us to the exit, but we've got to find a way to get to the elevator. The orange is right here and we can't move it right now so that's our exit. We can make our way over there safely now that the power ball is gone, by putting a blue portal here and walking through. Now we're a little bit closer to the elevator, but we're not quite there yet. So we can take our blue portal and shoot it over here and make an exit right by the moving elevator. Now when you shoot a second portal, it takes away the first one and that comes into play later when you have some timing related challenges, where you have to shoot one portal and wait for a ball to bounce and quickly shoot another one. Those challenges are kind of difficult but once you get the concepts down it's not too hard. So, there we go out of our orange and out of the blue and on to our elevator, which we've activated and smooth sailing from here on out. That's test chamber 08."
