"JOHN SEXTON: Halo 3 is a registered trademark of Bungie Software, I company which I have no affiliation. I'm inside a bubble shield right now, so I can plan a little bit more safely. Now, the sniper rifle will take down the jackal's shields if you hit it, but that's a waste of bullets if you can possibly avoid it, because the sniper rifle doesn't often have very many rounds with it. So, we took down that sniper. We've got another jackal here. They have a little notch on the left and right sides of their shields that if you aim into that you can generally kill them in one hit. So, you want to take your time and be careful to aim in that area. So, it's like we've cleared out most of the guys, most of the big threats anyway, who are down below. There are a few Grunts in there, but we'll take them out with this plasma grenade. All right, so we've cleared out this first little area, and I'm almost out of sniper rifle ammo, so I'm going to go ahead and ditch that and pick up a Covenant Carbine, which is the weapon that jackals often use, sort of analogous to the battle rifle for the human weapons."
