The video gaming industry has continued to grow throughout the history of video games themselves. From the first version of pong, to 8-bit systems like Atari, all the way to intense and graphically advanced gaming systems like xbox360 and playstation 2, video games have fostered a major money-making industry and significant job market in the United States and the world. It is apparent now that video games are here to stay, so why not learn to play one of the most popular games out there: Halo 3?
In this free video series, our expert John Sexton will show you how to play Halo 3. He will talk about the underground command, carrying the turret gun, the pelican vehicle, the gravity hammer, the barracks & brutes, shield drainers, flares, freeloading weapons, and jump jets. He'll even talk about avoiding fuel rod cannons, arming the bomb, and spike grenades before offing valuable techniques for the video game Halo 3.
"JOHN SEXTON: Halo 3 is a registered trademark of Bungie Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. All right, so here we are in mission 2 of Halo 3. We have just rescued Sergeant Johnson who is being held by some Covenant forces, and we're now in an underground command center planning what to do next in our fight against the Covenant to help save the Earth. So it's a little, kinda, passive cut scene here where you can walk around and watch the other characters talk, and they tell you about what's going on in the mission here. All right, so we've definitely come to the right place. We've got Covenant chucking grenades and blowing up my friends, so can't have that. And this is a narrow corridor so it's a good place for grenades. You can blow up some of the explosive barrels, and items, and things, and the physics will actually damage the enemies, too, if they get hit by something that's flying through the air, so, this is a good place to use explosive weapons. You can get some collateral damage in there, mostly Grunts, so far, no big deal. It's a plasma grenade, although, I hear a Brute, and there he is jumping up on top of stuff. So you'll see lots of different classes of Brutes in Halo 3. This one have the blue armor, which sort of serves almost exactly the same purpose that the Elite served in the previous versions of Halo. And then, you'll see other Brutes that are in more elaborate armor, or in gold armor, and those are the Brute chieftains, and those are significantly more difficult, and more dangerous to deal with."
