The video gaming industry has continued to grow throughout the history of video games themselves. From the first version of pong, to 8-bit systems like Atari, all the way to intense and graphically advanced gaming systems like xbox360 and playstation 2, video games have fostered a major money-making industry and significant job market in the United States and the world. It is apparent now that video games are here to stay, so why not learn to play one of the most popular games out there: Halo 3?
In this free video series, our expert John Sexton will show you how to play Halo 3. He will talk about getting the marines to safety, deactivating the force field, making your way to the arc, wraiths, anti-air wraiths, brute choppers, maneuvering through the blokades, activating halo, hijacking vehilces, and defeating scarab tanks. He'll even talk about the ai marine gunners and exploding the core of the scarab tanks before offing valuable techniques for the video game halo 3.
"JOHN SEXTON: Halo 3 is a registered trademark of Bungie Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. All right. Here we are at the beginning of the third mission of Halo 3, just crash landed and I need to get my marine buddies to safety here, so we're just exiting this bunker. And here we have the Warthog. This is the all-terrain vehicle of the Halo series, got a mounted machine gun or rocket launcher on the back. You can drive it or ride in the back and have your AI teammates drive it for you. They're not particularly good drivers, though, so a lot of times it's better to drive it yourself and have them do the shooting. So I'm just going to keep following this path here and try to take out all the Covenant in the area. These are some floating sniper platforms that you'll find Jackals or Brutes on with sniper rifles from time to time. You can blow them up and take out the guys on top of them or you can snipe the guys from their perch if you can get a good enough feed on them. That guy in the back is doing a good job of taking out all these Covenant with the machine guns."

on 10/15/2008 I've found it so much easier if you just drive straight through the level, no stopping to take out the bad guys, no time to sip the lemonade.
In fact, you can get away with this for most of the levels in Halo 3. What happens is that the game just loads the next area, regardless of what you've killed.
