"In this segment, we're going to be covering how to place your bets at a window. There's generally a specific order that tellers want to have your bets being placed. First thing, that we're going to want from you is what track you're betting at. If you don't know that and you're going to start rattling off numbers, we're not going to know where you want to put that bet and we're just going to be waiting for you until you can tell us the track. So you tell us the track first, we can get things moving smoothly. Next thing we're going to want is the dollar amount. How much money that the base bet starts at. After that, we're going to want to know the type of bet. After that, we're going to want the number or series of numbers in that bet. For example, if you were going to place a bet at Mile High, we would want you to say, I want a bet at Mile High, two dollars to win on number three. Another example, Mile High, four dollars, Quinella, on six and seven."
