"Hi. I'm Jeanette White on behalf of Expert Village and Piper's Quilts and Comforts located in Sugar House. Today we're going to be talking about identifying the right side and the wrong side of knitting. This is actually determined the minute you have caste on your stitches. So let's talk about how you identify it. If you look down here where your caste on was. You can see that you've got these pretty little scallops that go all along this edge as opposed to turning this over and you see that you've got a more pronounced bump or a scallop here. This would be your wrong side and this side would be your right side. So in other words when you started to do your project. If you were starting with a stockinet stitch which is what this is. And you can tell that because one side is smooth and the other side is bumpy. You would want to start your knit stitch on the side where you have this nice even scallop. And that's how you determine a right side from a wrong side."
