" Hi! My name is Jeff and I am going to be talking about pre-wetting black and white film. It is going to change the development time; it depends a lot how long you leave that water in there, how much it penetrates, you know the film, how much of the pre-wetting agent that is on the film actually rinses off. Most people that I know that do it, pour water in. As soon as they get it filled, they wrap it and pour it out, not leaving it in there for 1 minute or 2 minutes. They just fill it up, pour it out and go. The important thing to remember is consistency. Do it the same way every time and you will consistent results doing that. "
