"Hi! I'm Jennifer Kimball and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to organize and maintain your book collection. If your books don't fully fill up the shelves of your bookcase and particularly if you have free standing shelves that don't have sides, it's important to have book ends. There are various different ways that you can go about this. Of course, you have your plain metal book ends, which are very useful, but aren't all that attractive. This is great if you have business books or papers in your office and you just need something to hold them up right. You would just have your metal bookend. You want to make sure to get it underneath those books, so you better hold them. That's going to hold your books up right so you don't have to worry about them falling over. Of course, the other type of bookend are the more decorative ones. You can have book ends in just about anything you can imagine. Of course, this is a gargoyle, but you can find them in monograms, single letters, and various literary characters. You can also have beautiful polished stones as your book ends. You don't even have to just purchase a book end. Anything which is going to be heavy enough to be able to hold these books back is going to work as a book end. This is another way of adding a decorative touch to your bookshelves and also useful in holding your books up right."
