"Hi! I'm Jennifer Kimball and one behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to organize and maintain your book collection. Once you've decided on how you're going to organize your books, it becomes an issue of where you're going to put them. What if you have a lot of books? We're talking hundreds and hundreds of books, but you live in a big city and you have a small apartment. How are you going to display all of your books? This is where you start getting creative. You can have smaller bookcases set up in various areas of you apartment. Of course, if you have a nice big place, it becomes less of an issue and you're more likely to be able to have a large library with all of your books in one place. However, you still might not want to have all your books just in one area, so you can start breaking it up. Like I said, you can have smaller bookcases, so you can have them separated. You might want to have them flanking a table in your dining room. For instance, if you have room there, you can also intersperse them with other types of media. If you have a DVD collection or a CD collection, or even a VHS collection, you can still have your books surrounding other things. This way you're mixing things up and you're making better use of your space. This is also when it comes handy to have maybe some individual shelves besides just a bookcase because those can fit over your desk. You can have them over the television. Just wherever you happen to have room, that's where you can stick your books. While it might be nice to always have a nice big library with everything all at once, sometimes your space constraints might prevent you from doing that. There are always creative ways of getting around your space issues so that you can have all of your books out."
