"Hi. This is Jeremy here on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to teach you a little bit about the importance of entertaining while doing balloons. Now, these are my own opinions about entertaining. There will be other balloon twisters that have different ideas, but it seems to be, most of the time people hire a balloon twister, it's for the entertainment value as well as the product, the balloons that come out of it. So you need to make sure that when you go into a situation, you have some stuff prepared. If something happens, if something pops that you can basically cover it up. A lot of times what I like to do when I'm making a simple animal, and if while I'm doing it something pops that you don't want to, you say something like, "oh, that usually only happens when I try to make a weasel". Another one is when I make a mermaid, this one's design specific, and I hand it to the little boy or little girl, a lot of times I'll warn her that no matter what the seagull says, don't try to comb her hair with a fork. Bad idea. Now if, the one thing with entertaining is, being a balloon twister people generally assume that you're going to be somewhat funny. So you don't actually have to try that hard. I've done it before where I've said something completely nonsensical and it made no sense to me. I'm hoping it didn't make any sense to them, but they found it funny anyways. If you go to an area and you run out of things to say, the easiest thing to do is talk to the people you're with. It doesn't have to be funny, but keep them engaged and talking. If you're standing there making balloons with a lot of silence, it makes it a little bit less pleasurable experience."
