"Hi, this is Jeremy with Expert Village. Going to go ahead and show you how to hold the contact juggling ball, how to hold your acrylic, or dog ball, or whatever ball you're using. This is important that you learn how to do this with both hands before you go too far on. There's two ways to hold it, one's called a two finger cradle, the other's called a three finger cradle, and they're called such because one uses two fingers, one using three fingers. Now for most people when they start it's easiest to use a three finger cradle, which means on the back of your hand the acrylic ball actually goes between these three fingers, and you notice my middle finger's down a little bit. Now this is a good hold, it's a little bit harder when you start on the next step, though. The hold I usually use is the two finger cradle, which uses these two fingers, no finger is lower than the other, and the tighter you make the cradle, the better it looks. And usually you can tighten up the cradle as you're actually contact juggling. Now, whichever cradle you choose to learn from, once you have it there, go ahead and make sure you can move your hand back and forth, tilting it in either direction, moving it. And that's the key with it, is actually tilting your hand if you want to stop, you've got to make sure that your hand tilts in the opposite direction just enough that the ball doesn't roll off."
