"How do you get to be an expert Bid Whist player or even an expert Whist player or for that measure an expert card player of any game. Since we're talking about Whist, I would say firstly you hone your skills by practicing playing on line; maybe against the bot. Then you find a partner and you cultivate that relationship. Because live games are relatively easy to find and provide you an opportunity to play in that live arena and get to play against real people. You can certainly consider, Win at Whist. This'll help your game. We have a lot of neat, neat chapters in here with illustrative hands that you can play out. We have a full glossary of terms. We mention the live community. We mention the sites. Win at Whist is a good book. There are other good Whist books out there and you can check those on line as well. The more information that you read from the book venue will certainly help to improve your game. However, I feel that the ideal way to improve your game is to practice on the Internet. Go check out Cases Lotto on line. Go check out any other Internet site. There's not too many of them that offer Bid Whist. Your best chance however to make yourself a great player and you might lose here, you might lose there, you know. We all lose; we all lose eventually that's true. But we all start out as novices. Nobody is born with cards in their mouth unless there teething on them. So the bottom line is, is that you learn the game, you develop the game, you work with a partner. Test the skill. You learn to count cards. You learn to manage hands. You learn to control bidding and once you do that, then you can go to a live tournament and actually have a chance to, you know, take home some hardware and take home some money. Most of all have fun."
