I'm Joe Marshall and today we are going to discuss shuffles and cuts. Just want to take a moment and step back and look at the big picture here so you could actually see why and when you will be using these types of things. Say for example if someone hands you a deck of cards and say “ to do a trick” you are at the party they hand you the deck you could say you want to make them select the queen of diamonds for example you are handed the deck. You give it a riffle shuffle like so. You come across you will give one of the one handed cuts and maybe even a pivot cut and then bring another portion of the top and you go into your Hindu shuffle away from there you just stop whenever. They say stop and you show them the card and of course it is the queen of diamonds and you complete the cut you hand them the deck the rest is just all presentation from there. To follow that basically you are going to control the bottom card at all times. You are going to riffle shuffle like I explained earlier pivot it up. This is your get ready position you don't want to stay in this position you want to move into a fast because you are going to be showing that card. So full range it just looks like this. I kept the queen of diamonds on the bottom I let it go first with my thumb. I shuffle it together like so. So as long as I keep this packet dropped down first I could just shuffle the remainder of that pack without worrying about it. Dovetail and I could go straight into the Hindu shuffle from there and whenever they say stop you want to speed this up of course, show them that card or from the riffle shuffle you drop that card first. You could go into the triple false cut that we have explained like so and then straight into your Hindu shuffle. All these techniques the way that you are holding the deck they all made so they could blend into one another really nice and I just wanted to show you the bigger prospective of a normal flow routine that you will as for to force a card for example from the bottom of the pack.
