It's really my favorite. I've been playing it ever since I was a little kid, and I think it was the first card game I ever learned how to play. Gin Rummy got its start in America in the early nineteen hundreds. It was created by a fellow by the name of Elwood Baker. He was a bridge instructor in a card club in New York City called the Nickerbocker Club. But it wasn't until the nineteen thirties that the game really took off and became very popular. It was, a lot of the Hollywood actors and theater performers they would be seen playing Gin Rummy on the set in between their rehearsals and their filming. It's know that even American president, George Bush enjoys a game of Gin Rummy. He gets matches together on Air Force One with his aids while he's flying in between locations. One of the misconceptions is that Gin Rummy is a game of chance. There's not much skill involved. But, I'm going to show you that's really not the case. There's a lot of skill involved. And, if you really want to master the game, you really have to get those skills down. And then, you'll be able to playing in tournaments and online.
