"The first thing we want to do is get a measurement of our sticks so we know where to place them, where to lay them on the plastic of the kite. Now, this is very important because we want everything to be symmetrical. That is going to help the kite fly better, be able to catch the wind better. So, in order to do this, what we need is, we have to get the exact mid point of one of the sticks, and that mid point is going to be where the second stick will meet the first stick over that mid point. We want to take the total measurement of the second stick and divide it into thirds, and then at two thirds of the stick we'll make a point, and that is going to be where the top stick will lay across the bottom stick at the mid point. As we see here, we have the mid point on the top stick, that's exactly in the middle, and it's meeting the bottom stick at two thirds of its length, and now that we have the right measurements, we're going to glue the top stick to the bottom stick, and this will give some initial support, and afterwards we're going to add some string and more glue, and that will give more, make it even stronger. Even though the sticks are going to be placed inside the dibbles, we still want to glue it a bit and put some string around it so that it will help support it, and this is how we set the sticks and get them ready to be placed inside the kite."
