"We're working on adding doubles into our juggling pattern. We've already learned how to make a double happen just every once in a while. So you're juggling your normal three club cascade. Every once in a while throw a double out of one hand or the other, just like that. Now the next step we're going to learn is throw every throw a double. Now, the only step to doing this, is making your doubles clean enough so that you can catch every throw. So make you sure you get those as clean as possible. Just like that. And then try and throw two in a row. Like that. Again, start with each hand. Left. Like that. And right. Like that. And then see if you can just switch in and juggle every throw at double height. This is an effective visual trick. Switching in between doubles and singles. Because the clubs spin less, and are traveling much faster when you're juggling singles versus doubles. Some common things you can do with doubles as well, are make the throws half as high. So make them normal height, just like this, a normal club throw, but spin them twice as fast. These are commonly called circus doubles. So many circus performers will juggle all their clubs at normal height with twice as much spin. Like that. Another common trick is called a flash. Or a straight up flash. Where if you throw three, or throw all of your clubs in doubles quickly. So you're juggling your normal pattern, and throw all of them up into a double pattern and straight back into the singles pattern. That's called a quick flash. There are a lot of things you can do with doubles. You can incorporate them different ways. Switch the spin up in between doubles and singles. And you can make things look pretty cool."
