Juggling 4 Balls: Common Problems

"So now, after you've gotten the basic pattern down for four club juggling, you're going to want to start cleaning it up and trying to get it as clean and uniformed and straight up as possible. Now at this point, your pattern probably doesn't quite look as clean as this one, but I've been practicing for probably a lot longer than you have. To work on it though, some of the most common problems are that the balls from the same hand are colliding in the air or they're not going out correctly. We really need to think about is getting those arm motions, getting that circle from the inside to the out so that each ball is really sweeping from the center of your body to the outside, like this. You can see my, my arm is moving pretty much in a circle from the elbow, spinning around like that. Really practice that, clean that up with both hands. That will help you prevent collisions between the hands, and between the same balls from the same hand. Another very important thing is, many people start to walk forward, walk backwards, or like one hand will move before the other so that you'll start doing something like this, fall apart, you start walking forward following your pattern. So really think about standing straight, keeping your arms even, bent at the elbow and have good posture. And think about your wrists are doing, think about throwing straight up and not forward or back. So work on that a lot, keep practicing, should help you clean up your pattern."
