Hacky sack is a great hobby and pastime because it requires little equipment (one hacky “sack”) and almost anybody can do it! This fun hobby was invented in 1975 by John Stalberger and Mike Marshall. The sport is also referred to as circle kicking because in an informal game of hacky sack, a group of people usually stand in a circle. The main object of the game is to pass a small bag or sack (using only your feet) to every player in the circle without the sack hitting the ground.

" Hi guys! My name is Jay and I am going to be talking to you guys today on behalf of expertvillage.com. Today we are going to be talking about different ways to learn how to relax when you are playing hacky sack. You know, you want to be as relaxed as possible, that way, all the movement is just in your feet. You want to keep all the tension off your feet and don’t clench your fist, definitely just want to be in a relaxed state of mind that way the ball flows like it should. You know whenever you are playing hacky sack it is just like anything else, you do not want to be thinking about anything, you do not want to be nervous, you just want to be in a relaxed state of mind, basically. You can do different breathing techniques where you are breathing in through your nose and not through your mouth, this is really helpful in actually anything that you are doing that is active. Whenever you are doing these breathing techniques, you want to breathe in through your nose and not through your mouth but also what you want to do is you want to breathe in through your nose and hold it and your stomach for about 10 seconds and then I want to breathe it out through the seams of your teeth clenched. That way you can get the most out of your breathing technique and you can actually use this breathing technique before playing hacky sack, you will get more relaxed and while you are playing hacky sack, you just breathe in through your nose not through your mouth. That is it on being relaxed while playing hacky sack."
