"This is Jake here with Expert Village and I'm talking about how to use adobe premier pro to capture. Now of course adobe premier, premier elements whatever premier you use you are going to want to go set up your preferences. Now must likely if you are doing mini dv premier is a very professional program but if you are using mini dv you don't want ntsc always. This is pow lest for you to be in and you are probably not going to have hd yet or you wouldn't be watching this but anyways if you do look for this option your dv or 1394 and your dv capture devices. And if it is not correct hit edit but otherwise you want your video like I say to be on another drive not your same drive that you computer programs is on. If your program is on C drive always try to get into something else. Now in your audio compression again it depends on what your personal preferences are. I would usually go with default if you are just beginning. Now here you are going to hit the play button this is when it should recognize the camera and then there would be a small red button. You can't necessarily see it here it is on the far right small red button and that is your record button. So once you see the camera then you can go and record. "
