Collecting Vinyl Records: Disney Albums

"ExpertVillage.com, let's take a look at some Disney albums. They are very collectible. The older ones that have pages in them with the older illustrations, those are probably worth the most. Those are either 78s or 33s, and those are worth the most. But, let's today focus on what we need to find because that is where we are going with these segments. This one is a Disney "it's a small world." You'll see that when you look at the cover, this is an early Disney Land. You know, Disney Land opened in 1955 and this is probably an early photo of "It's a Small World." Let me tell you a story that has nothing to do with records. Last summer, I was a skipper on the Jungle Cruise. How cool is that? It's something I always wanted to do and it was great fun. But I learned all the behind-the-scenes Disney stuff. I learned that right now they are re-engineering the "It's a Small World" ride because the boats are sinking because people are too fat. True. They are going to make the boats wider and they are going to make the water deeper because the boats are going down. So, that has nothing to do with vinyl. But, Disney records are very collectible, whether they be about Disney Land or the Disney characters. So look for those in good condition."
