"Welcome back, Expert Villagers! Expert Village.com. I'd like to tell you a little bit about this album. Now, if you are like me, in this age group, Bob Dylan was something that my mother listened to over and over until I wanted to be dead. Bob Dylan. But this guy, really was something. He's started to make a little comeback. I noticed he was making a commercial for a Chrysler or something. But anyway...let me tell you about this Bob Dylan "Freewillin'" album which is really quite famous. The first one of these albums that came out (I think it was 1963) had four different songs that are not even in the subsequent albums. They didn't make that many because in record collecting, it all has to do with the pressing. It has to do with when they made the pressing; was it the first pressing, second pressing, third pressing, fourth pressing? Well, the incredible thing about this album...I wish this was the first pressing, but this album may be worth five or ten dollars in mint condition. But, the first pressing of this album has been known to fetch thousands and thousands of dollars. I think it was thirty-five thousand; yeah, thirty-five thousand dollars in mint condition. Now, don't forget, condition is everything. SO when you go to a thrift store or a garage sale and you see this album and you are about to have a stroke because you are so excited and you can't take it anymore because you think you are rich. Open it up. If it has a red label, it's not the right one. Look at the back, and see when it was printed. There are four songs missing in subsequent albums. But, I just wanted to re-iterate this point and that's why I'm showing this album. Sometimes when you look in the records price book, you'll see the same album listed ten or twelve times because it's a second printing or a third printing or a fourth printing. Okay? So be aware of that so you don't get too excited and fall down dead when you find this particular album. Keep that in mind; when was it cut (the album), and how many subsequent albums were made after that? Just remember that, it's important."
