"Hi, my name is Ed Cody and on behalf of ExpertVillage.com, I am going to talk to you a little bit about using your digital camera. Now I have been in the picture business for about 30 years and I will tell you what, in today’s world with the digital camera it is the only way to be in my opinion. You can take the digital camera and just keep on shooting whether you are a novice, you have been doing it for a year or two, the digital is very forgiving. The reason that I like it is because as a parent you can do 5 - 10 - 15 - 50 shots, whatever you need to to come back to get the one or two priceless ones that you like. Digital is very forgiving; it usually gives you that instant feedback to where you can see on the screen what you have just photographed. And if you like it great you keep that and you move on to something else or it may kind of open up some extra ideas in your head and say you know what that looks great but maybe I should. And then at that point you go on and do some other portraits. So the digital world is the place that has become your partner in photographing your child. You photograph them and you get instant gratification, you will know right away whether you have a decent print or not by using digital. "
