Adding Lid: Making a Kaleidoscope

"Hi my name is Elliott Kwong on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to teach you how to make a kaleidoscope. Next what we are going to do is we are going to stick this petri dish onto the pipe. But it may not fit exactly it might jiggle around. So what we are going to do to make sure it fits. Well what we can do again is take some foam and cut it out into some strips like this. Then we are going to glue it around the edges of the pipe. So this is how we are going to do it. We are going to take some hot glue and we are going to glue it on the sides like this. Load the glue and line it around the edges of the 2 like that. Then we have that we could put the piece of foam on the tube like so. Then just hold it in place like that so then it is nice and tight. Then we are going to take the hot glue again and we are going to spread it around the edge like so. Then we are going to take our second piece of foam right here and we are going to line it up. Place it on the edge like that. So then we have 2 pieces of foam like this. Then we can take our petri dish."
