"EMIL LAMPRECHT: The next trick we're going to go over is another step in the snatch escalation. Now, instead of a 180 turn on releasing the box, we're going to throw it so it does a full 360 spin and then it's caught. Looks like this. Or close to that. Now, unlike the 180, I am shifting my hand on the box. I'm bringing it much closer to the inside part of the box so that as I release, it's easier to twist it around my wrist for that spin. Same goes on this side, moving my hand closer to the box not quite so it's on the middle box but over to this side so that I can twist it around my wrist for the throw. Now, there's a couple of different ways you can do this. You can rely solely on the throwing motion from your wrist or you can lift high enough to ensure that even if it's spinning slowly, it'll make it all the way around. Depends on what look you're going for. I prefer a bigger lift. It takes more practice because the release has to be even but it's usually much prettier and especially when you're doing an escalation from a regular snatch to a 180 snatch to a 360 snatch, it's nice to have the height difference."
