How to Twist & Separate Cigar Boxes in Juggling

"EMIL LAMPRECHT: Now if you've learned your basic separations and you've gotten at least a little used to twist to doing different grips on the boxes like that, now you can put them together into separations with a twisting box. It looks a little bit like this. On both sides. Now your separation technique obviously comes in the separation of the box and your twist technique comes in the fact that you have to be able--and understand how to apply pressure from your different grip to catch it properly. Now this trick is pretty cool because when throw in with another one other thing and done quickly, it can look pretty interesting. If you're nice and smooth doing it just on its own, it can look pretty sweet and then combine with various lifts and snatches, which I'll go over later, can look pretty interesting."
